Yoke on the hay

We call this dragonfly yoke. It looks like a stick, with the help of which, in the old days, two buckets of water were transferred from a well to a home.

This summer I had a lot of encounters with these interesting dragonflies. Amazing a huge variety of their colors. Near the water I most often met blue dragonflies. In the field, where many flowers, there can be found red and white dragonflies of this species. I found this dragonfly at the edge of the forest.

This is a female. She is waiting for her boyfriend. She hid herself perfectly. It is difficult to see on the background of dry grass or hay.
