Hi everyone, this is my entry for a MACRO-PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE hosted by @flamingirl

On this occasion I want to present you with a photo taken as a macro photo of a stupendous animal that can be found completely hidden from the human eye, EL INSECTO PALO or Phasmatodea insect.

Like Wikipedia says:

In general, stick insects, as the name suggests, are twig shaped, which makes them unnoticed by many predators. However, it is not the only system that these insects have to defend themselves against enemies.
Both the so-called stick insects and the leaf insects belong to the order Phasmida (= Phasmatodea), but belong to different superfamilies. The leaf shape of these animals is reinforced because their wings are adorned with drawings that resemble enormously the innervations of the leaves of the plants and because their legs are endowed with laminar expansions that are confused with those of the leaves themselves.

This incredible insect can be a strange animal, but it is still amazing because we can imagine the enormity that nature has when creating a rare and fantastic living being.

This macro photo was taken by my husband with his former phone Samsung Galaxy S2.
