Hello steemians, it's great to be here to day. I guess you guys are enjoying your holiday because I am. I wanted to share some of the pictures I took with you guys here.

The above was taking from a side view, with night mode option switched on on the smartphonecamera to darken the background and lighting the main target.

This was taken from a slightly different angle. More. Like the center of the flower.
The above are SOOC's (straight out of camera)
I edited the picture using snapseed.

First i imported the picture to the snapssed app.
on the app i selected tools and selected the details tool and increased the following:
structure= +100

then i entered tune image and set

brightness= -77

contrast= +53

saturation= +7

ambiance= +20

highlights= 0

shadows= -55

warmth= +2

after tuning the image i cropped it to remove too much distraction on the photo. Then on tools again, I used selective, on selective i selected the area i want to effect a change on, i wanted to make the leaves around the coloured flowers to be dark, so i selected a part first and pinch in to reduce the selected area where the effect will affect. After i did that i set

brightness = -100

contrast= 0

saturation = -100

structure = -100
After i was done with that part i clicked the + button to work on another area and applied the same settings above.
Did that for the 4 areas around the colored flower.

after using the selective tool i use the HDR tool. On HDR i selected the preset and set:

filter strength = +5

brightness = +20

saturation= +8

after using the HDR tool

I reused the details tool to add more depth to the image and i set

details= +71

sharpness= 0

seeing the image was still quite warm, i used the tune image tool and reduced the

warmth= -28

lastly i used the text tool to write my initials.
And the result below:
