Praying Mantis with killer looks
The praying mantis is an incredibly impressive bug that may be found all over the world. The praying mantis is a carnivorous and well-camouflaged insect that gets its name from the way its front legs are bent in a "prayer" posture. The majority of mantis species are green or brown in appearance, allowing them to blend in with leaves and foliage, allowing them to stalk insects such as flies and grasshoppers with great patience.
The fearsome predators are capable of murdering prey that is three times the size of the predator. Praying mantises prey on insects, mice, tiny turtles, and even snakes, according to the National Geographic.
