this solution costed me +/- $50 ,-
the Rokkor 50mm 1.7 costed € 15,-
the Panagor Auto Macro Converter € 15.-
the MD - E-mount adapter $8,- from Hong kong
this means everything need to be done Manual aperture and Focus
some sample pictures :
the biggest problem is getting your flash light where you need it but for that there also a solution :)
i used the pringles diffuser http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Pringles-Can-Macro-Diffuser

I agree. macro shooting gear can also be not so expensive.

even though not a true macro lens, the results are amazing, this at a fraction of the cost of buying a macro lens.

you're welcome , there is really no need to buy a $450,- macro lens if you just want to see if macro fits you or not

These are amazing! I have a Raynox macro converter lens, that I clip on my lenses, but that has not enough DOF.
raynox also works nice , but it does have it's limitations , it could depend on the lens that you use the raynox on, never tried that myself .
