Why 20?
You can start when you like, 20 is just a number to use as a guide.
You can know that you are on track to produce more than you consume if you are productive by 20.
With only 20,000 hours needed for a basic, few frills, productive life it can be spread over the next 30 years.
Again, just a guideline for when you can expect to retire.
Why tell people when they can and can't work?
This is not mine to clarify, I have repeatedly told you that rule by force is out, first thing.
If you want to be a bum, or a jerk, feel free, but don't be surprised when folks react to that in their own special way,....

As with any fully developed technology, it looks like magic.
Doesn't change the underlying facts, the workers do all the work, there is no need to buy that work a second time.
They have already given their lives for it.

Not everybody works now.
If 90% of the value of your work didn't go to accountants we could all work a lot less, and have more.
Everything will be naturally distributed.
If you work in a car factory you want your work distributed so that you can have toothbrushes.
I'm just offering an outline to a distribution system that doesn't need wars to balance the books.
One that doesn't enable human trafficking.
One that puts people first.
First on the moon.
First on mars.
First to have the freedom to not (wage)slave in the mines and factories, but to dream the engine that takes us to the stars.
Then you get miners and makers that want to mine and make, rather than slaves that don't want to live under a bridge.
The same with doctors, do you want a doc that sees a Mercedes payment, or one that is certified by his peers to be the best?
Who will sell the products and report back?
No selling, and I would think the bulk of goods would be ordered for delivery by a drone from the net.
There are a multitude of middle men.
In the new they will be needed to justify their living, so i'd think delivery guys and gals would be a booming career, at least until the drones can replace them.
Without any bosses.
Without any bosses that can send to live under a bridge, of course leaders could run you off if it was justified by your lack of ability, or if you were a jerk.
Much like the unions handle that today, they will continue to handle it in the future.
Others are unmanned
If nobody wants to clean the toilets, the toilets don't get cleaned.
If nobody wants to work in the nuclear plant, somebody is gonna have to bite the bullet in dismantling it.
I figure those people will be declared heroes and afforded perks in the community.
As would others that do distasteful and unpleasant tasks.
We have grown so dependent on the modern way.
Well, I figure we go back to local manufacture because we won't have to centralize, and there will be plenty of extra hands when food is free.
I'd think that kids would contribute most in the garden, or garden facility, to accustomize themselves to working, as the old (50+) could to stay active.
Converting more and more people to anarchism.
Free stuff sure makes that medicine go down smooth.
