Whew, apre yon trè brawley ak batay vyolan semèn pase a isit la nou yo kounye a se avèk rezilta a. Justin Gaethje (18-2 MMA Dosye) vin TKO'd pa "TheDiamond" Poirier amelyore dosye li a kounye a 23-5 e li te pi resamman mande ch la bay l 'piki a tit kont toujou undefeated e kounye a, nouvo 155-liv titholder la "Eagle" Nurmagomedov la ki te genyen senti a pandan dènye peye-chak-wè ch la te pwodwi.

Ak fazèl McGregor ki sot pase a Irishman a se kounye a kap yo dwe soti nan foto a pou nan leas yon ane ak pwovizwa chan Tony Ferguson blese, Dustin vs Khabib sanble yo dwe posib nan lavni imedyat la. Lè yo te rankontre tèt Honcho sou li, li remake ke Poirier te legi e li te asire li se definitivman youn nan konkiran yo tèt pou senti a. Li menm te anvizaje yon kèk semèn tounen nan gen Dustin Poirier dwe premye replason pou UFC 223 e li te kontan li pa t '.

Nan moman sa a gen yon konsansis jeneral ki divizyon an lejè se nan yon ti jan nan yon eta difisil, men lavni an definitivman sanble byen klere pou 29 ane fin vye granmoun kf fetan Poirier la.

"Motown Fenom a" pa panse ke yo fè pati nan onè a anwo nan divizyon an 155-liv.

Whew, after a very brawley and violent fight last week here we are now with the result. Justin Gaethje (18-2 MMA Record)gets TKO'd by "TheDiamond" Poirier improving his record now to 23-5 and has most recently asked the UFC to give him the title shot against still undefeated and now the new 155-pound titleholder "TheEagle" Nurmagomedov who won the belt during the last pay-per-view the UFC has produced.

With the recent McGregor debacle the Irishman is now looking to be out of the picture for at least a year and interim champ Tony Ferguson injured, Dustin vs Khabib looks to be possible in the immediate future. When UFC head honcho was was asked about it, he remarked that Poirier was legit and had assured he is definitely one of the top contenders for the belt. He even contemplated a few weeks back of having Dustin Poirier be the initial replacent for UFC 223 and was glad he did not.

At the moment there is a general consensus that the lightweight division is in a bit of a tricky state but the future definitely looks bright for the 29 year old UFC veteran Poirier. “I’ve paid my dues,” as per Porier. “I’ve put nothing but hard work in. I’ve been close to the mountain top and I’ve been knocked down. I’ve shown resilience and fortitude and I’ve done it over and over again to put myself back in the position I’m in" as he said.

That aside a strong voice of meeh came from UFC star Kevin Lee and has stated that although he was entertained as everyone else on Saturday night “The Motown Phenom” doesn’t think they belong in the upper echelon of the 155-pound division. He even commented as fas saying he's seen those performances from others and though he looked good its not championship caliber performance. To clear things up,Lee isn’t Poirier's win and his performance but says he is skeptikal if Poirier can take on the Dagestani champ.

Sort:

To be honest Kevin Lee is in no position to talk because he is not a "Championship FIghter" yet whereas Poirier proved himself numerous time and has been grinding that division for years.
I think he finally make amend to his loss to Mcgregor and can move on with the next chapter of his life.

One thing for sure, Khabib has never lost a round in his career, and apparently the same goes for sparring, meaning you gonna need hell of a game plan to defeat The Eagle.
I think Joe Rogan is full of BS when he says Khabib has holes in his stand up game, I was watching the fight with Russians comment so didn't get affected by what he said , and what I was seeing is a clear beatdown, I know people say it was Al Iaquinta strategy to go for a brawl, but to be honest Khabib was so fast on his feet, it felt like someone was spamming the jab button at Mortal Kombat and win!

The other thing is the weight difference between Poirier and Khabib, one was a feather weight, the other one could be a welterweight and wrestle at A.K.A with Daniel Cormier and Cain Velasquez...

Oh yeah, totally true. At this point Kevin is just trying to make himself sound relevant.

I see you are a Khabib fan as well. I don't see anyone beating Khabib at the moment too, with Tony maybe but unlikely.

I was a Tony fan before Khabib as I love his BJJ and his crazy style, I have been vouching for him but now mentioning Khabib and Tony in the same sentence in just plain painful after 5 cancellation hahaha
Now I vouch for the cable that defeated Tony :P
