In the Good Old Days ,when all Vehicle Licences were due at the same time ( end of Feb as I recall) Go into JHB and be prepared to stand in a Queue for the Whole Day!
Later I recall going to Krugersdorp where you would stand in a Queue to tell you which one to go to!
With the new Powers that be now , they do not send you renewal notices any more , you have to queue to get permission to get a licence! Good Thing I am not in charge , These SDVI's ( Severely Disturbed Village Idiots ) would rapidly have their carcasses donated to The Spca, Zoo's, Universities for Medical Students to practice on and other short term necessities more suited to their somewhat limited usefulness. ( Organ donors, yes, brain transplants no) By now you probably realise why no one wants me to run for political office?
Anyhow I ramble on, Read the following and you will probably catch an inkling of where I am coming from.
My Electricity was cut off 2 months ago due to insufficient payment, ( received July's Bill a few weeks ago in the post!
When I phone for a Bill ( Krugersdorp) " Because you are behind we cannot give you a Bill" How the hell do I know how much to pay if you don't give me a bill?. This question seems to be beyond their somewhat limited Mental Capacity!. Tried the same Question on My Female Bull Terrier, Trixie , at least she wagged her tail ,and indicated that whatever I did was alright by her.

Please note the picture is of a Government Institution that probably works better than the Licence Office!

GET UP, Go! Get out of my way,,
I've Better things to do with my day
than stand in line,just to fight
To get my papers before tonight!
