Having watched Idols from the first South African Version where Heinz Winckler won . Thereafter watching the British and USA Versions and all the similar TV shows , I soon realised that although there is some talent involved , the sadder your life story, the more likely you were to garner sympathy votes from the viewers. As for the Judges , let me refer you to My Chorus section.

Bwahaha!! I love it because its true!! There is a video of a guy that is apparently quite well know for debunking things that put on make up, made up a story that was just like your lyrics, and tried to sing(badly)....of course he made it!! Ai shame
I gave up on SA Idols long ago, but funny!
Me too, but on songs , I take inspiration where I can find it. The first lyrics I had posted on Steemit were under awb influenced by My Granddaughters Barbie Dolls, check it out, appreciate your opinion.
