How Lying Hurts Your Karma And Earning Potential
Does telling tall tales hurt you? Can such a thing as Karma snap back around to bite you in the ass? Not how you may think! Karma has a way of showing itself in the more subtle ways in your life. Take a used cars salesman. They almost have to lie to work their job so how would Karma get back to them? Karma tends to show up in areas unrelated to the actual crime the lying took place in. So not only would Karma not strike back in the cars salesman job it would rear it's head in a less obvious place in this person's life. If they are knowingly swindling a buyer the effect very well may be financially related in other areas like saving or investments in the salesman's life.
So how does the act of lying play into Karma? Being dishonest not only hurts those around you and those it's directed at, but it hurts yourself too. After time, the sheer task of keeping up with all the lying gets confusing and you can no longer keep it going without getting caught. Getting called out on lies makes one back peddle with more lies. It's just a vicious circle that can only be played for so long. One would need to find a whole new circle to continue the lies or come clean to those who have been hurt by the lies. But Karma does not forget.
A lot of people get away with lying, or so it seems. Cause and effect can take many forms and can be as far from the actual crime of lying as it can get. But there will be a consequence to being dishonest. I have seen terrible low lives get away with crimes over and over with what appears to be no punishment. The punishment will take on a different form. Almost like slapping a person from behind. They don't see it coming. Karma seems to dish out the punishment the same way. It may not be obvious the punishment is being delivered, but know for a fact the punishment WILL fit the crimes. The saying, "Karma is a bitch" is said for a reason, The punishment is usually 10 fold. Let's take a quick look at how that would work.
Karma is based in Hinduism, as well as a few other religions. Cause and effect are the basics. You do bad things, you attract bad Karma or in other words bad things will happen around you. You do good things and positive things happen in your life as a result. The Bible has many same teachings where we are told revenge will be handled by the Lord or to treat people as you would like to be treated. So what seems to be the norm, is a higher power will exact revenge on our behalf when people do bad things to us. The punishments are happening, but they happen in other aspects of the persons life which they are not connecting to the bad behavior. Sure they are getting away with their evil deeds but other things are going terribly wrong in their lives. That's Karma. And yes, it can be a bitch, so watch what you do. Someone higher up is always watching.
