Hermes Trismegistus is for the alchemist a very important character ! All the symbolism system in alchemy (and other esoteric traditions) is the hermetism ! the hermetic language is full of secrets and mysteries, it's why we say that something is close hermetically. It's a universal language full of allegories and we can find it in every sacred book. The sacred geometry is also a big part of this language !
