Second, Hermes insist on the craftsmanship, each bag is made all by one craftsman who takes two years to study the knowledge which is the same expertise that they use in one century ago like the saddle stitching and six years to master one metier, which let the bag have one soul.

It is easy to understand but hard to apply those principles to each steps of products. Hermes made it, and this is how a luxury brand remains the leading place for so many years without advertisements.
