Luxcore at the Malta Blockchain Summit

Luxcore CEO John McAfee, COO Guillaume H. and CFO Frederick Angers are in Malta this week for the Malta Blockchain Summit. With over 5000 attendees, the Summit is one of the marquee blockchain / cryptocurrency events of the year. McAfee delivered the keynote address, during which he spoke with passion about the importance of trustlessness and permissionlessness in crypto by way of heralding the coming revolution of distributed / decentralized exchanges such as the upcoming LuxGate.

Luxcore Appoints Brian Dors as Head of Marketing

Earlier this week, Luxcore appointed Brian Dors as Head of Marketing, working alongside COO Guillaume H. and the already established marketing team of Mike H. & Robert P. Please see the official announcement here:

QT wallet and Core development:

• Releasing 5.2.5 to fix PoS vulnerability. The hard fork is successful at block 465K
• Update QT version to 5.9.6
• RPC and bech32 tweaking
• i2p connect via SOCKS5 for Privacy mode
• Handle addressindex features for explorers and Qt explorer addresses history
• Fix a few possible Qt issues related to low cache memory (-dbcache)
• Improve Qt transaction history for smart contract operations and stake
• Improve Internal Block Explorer UI
• Improve BIP38 and Multisend UI
• Improve French translations
• Applying BIP174 into Luxcore blockchain

Web wallet development:

• Update the whole system for hardfork at block 465K
• Fix minor issue on sending page
• Added additional email verification code on send/export
• Added recaptcha on login to prevent brute force attacks on users (will be improved further)
