Web wallet update
The Lux web wallet will now automatically combine smaller coin chunks together so users are free to deposit any amount, large or small. The impact of this for users is twofold. First, even small deposits such as mining pool payouts will become automatically optimized to receive staking rewards. Second, it will alleviate strain on the server architecture resulting in improved web wallet performance and reliability.
DEVELOPMENT UPDATES
LuxGate development:
- Fix issue in showing TradingView Chart
- Update data provider for TradingView Chart
- Update theme styles
Decentralized file storage development:
- Currently, we are starting to implement DFS (Decentralized File Storage)
- The draft idea and the specification is completed
- Basically, PMN will maintain a Proof of File Storage (PoFS) consensus
- It also remains a completely separate and distinct network from the current masternode network in use
- Users will be able to add files to the decentralized system by paying a fee based on the size of the files and duration of time stored
- The hosting PMN nodes earn a share of that fee based on the proportion of the files stored on their own node
- Nodes with greater storage capacity and network uptime will thus have the most rewards potential
- The draft technical proposal has been uploaded here
QT wallet and Core development:
- Improve GUI in LSR Token page
- Improve GUI in Overview page
- Continue to develop new trading charts
- Finish implementing BIP174 into Luxcore Blockchain
- Improve PoS security
- Assign temporary PoS block fork
New explorer development:
- Backup explorer, based in the US, is now online here
- Improved internal processing for faster loading speeds
- Fixed some minor bugs
Web wallet development:
- Auto combine small mining rewards to bigger chunks
- Implemented new server-specific maintenance mode (instead of the whole web wallet)
