Ticket for happiness
Hello friends from steemit! Do you have a recipe for happiness?
We almost all think rich people are happy because they have all the material things they want. But they are enclosed in an environment that maintains and even glorifies their material addiction, their experience of acquiring and consuming.
And so they can not really live. Depends on the approval of everyone else. This is a vicious circle.
Money can not buy happiness, and of course we all know it. Research shows that about 10 - 12% of our daily dose of happiness depends on money. Everything else comes from the choice we make. This choice can be in the name of pleasure or in the name of the meaning of life. If our choice is pleasure, it is short-lived. While the choice of meaning, purpose, creative expression, healthy relationships makes us happier.
Our consumer culture encourages us to buy and thus have the feeling that we live in a world where the very existence is consumption. If we do not have the financial opportunity to buy everything we want, skepticism becomes a constant complaint, criticism, and game of casualties that are destructive.
Scientific theories tell us nothing about the meaning of human life. They tell us to use every minute here and now, but for what? Using the time that is given to us without purpose is to go to something that does not exist.
Everyone has to make sense of his own life, not to fill his time with the optimism imposed in recent years in some purposeless activity that will lead him to nothing.
Somebody very smart will tell us that the meaning of life is in love. Which love? Only the one who has found this meaning - can confirm.
