Currently, this amount falls below the minimum funding amount of 25k eth, but after speaking with investors and “speculative spectators” alike, the consensus is that, without a doubt, the funding milestone will be reached and the Lunyr project will become a reality.

Why the confidence?

Well, there are a few non-traditional factors to consider when dealing with the Lunyr ICO

Ethereum investment only. With Eth reaching toward the moon, investors and large holders may be reluctant to part with the new wealth until it is known the project will definitely proceed. Another factor, possibly the main reason the minimum hasn’t been reached yet is that

The Lunyr crowdsale did not feature an early investor bonus

As many ICO investors know, most crowdsales have an early investment bonus, and sometimes they are huge. I’ve seen 30%, 40%, even a 50% bonus for first day investor bonuses. This bonus alone causes many people to just toss money in as a sort of gamble, bringing in soft hands and first day exchange dumpers, but ultimately raises the initial funding numbers in the first days.

Without the bonus, Lunyr is the same price on the first day as on the last days:

This makes investing for maximum profit a little tricky. If you think eth will continue to rise, investing now is the best option, but if you believe eth will take a dive, then waiting for the final days would be your choice. I think many bitcoin users and alt-coin investors are feeling eth is peaking and could move for some downside correcting, which plays into the Lunyr crowdsale, as many would be waiting for a cheaper entry point.

But with the continuous stream of investments coming in daily during the first week, I am confident the minimum will be reached shortly, and the FOMO could be bigger than expected in the final days.

Though, the main reason I believe the crowdfund will be a success is the excellent development team behind the Lunyr project.
