:::Lunyr::: Crowdsale has Started – 7500+ Eth Raised in First Hours!!!

in #lunyr7 years ago

It’s time for the much anticipated crowdfund/token creation of LUNYR

A decentralized world knowledge base built upon Ethereum

Beginning at 16.00 UTC, this crowdsale has already gathered some serious investments within a matter of hours.

7.5 k+ Ethereum

Now, this crowdsale is also a token creation exchange, which is something many users might be unfamiliar with.
Being built on ethereum, it is considered an Eth asset Token and can be used and stored within an Eth wallet. So during this crowdsale, only Ethereum tokens can be used to make an investment and when they are sent to the crowdsale address, an equivalent amount of Lunyr tokens will be created and transferred back into your Ethereum wallet.

That equivalent is based on 44lunyr per 1 ethereum

So with the crowdsale only a few hours into the first day, there has been nearly 350,000 Lunyr created from the 7500+ Ethereum investments.

To get a better picture of the crowdsale and some numbers associated with it, the chart below explains the conversion and min/max investment.

Many interested investors like myself were unnecessarily concerned with the minimum investment target because of the recent spike in ethereum, as you can see, 25k ether is quite the amount to get a project started. Over 1million $$$

But the crypto enthusiasts have decided to trust in the qualified Lunyr development team and serious investors have rushed in to invest into the Lunyr vision.

Now, I’m confident that the 25k milestone will be easily reached, and with a funding period of 4weeks, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lunyr hit the ceiling and become the 2017 top funded project with a ~$12million initial investment cap.
Yes, unlike many funding projects, Lunyr has a maximum coin creation of 11million Lun, or a 250,000 invested Ethereum cap, so this could sellout… leaving those who missed this initial phase, stuck battling the exchanges at a premium.

Don’t miss out

Sorry for double posting this, but why will the average person chose to use Lunyr (with ads) over Wikipedia sans ads? It just doesn't seem to make sense. Is there really a need for a decentralized Wikipedia, or is this simply a greater fool type situation?

I think it would come down to credibility. People dont find wikipedia to be credible or is also easily manipulated.
With Lunyr, the average user can become a part of the site with reviewing and providing content for a monetary reward. This reward will make reviewing information and the posted information more credible by weeding out the garbage. Recieving rewards will build a community, and the adz will add value to the reward.
Its definetly a vision... maybe far fetched?
But im betting on the development team, im positive they will over produce something of value and early investors will be nicely rewarded
