Try some wood sketching.

It's just like tracing but done with wood working tools.

I know nothing about it but heard about my cousin's kids doing some stuff with this.

Gotta admit it looks pretty cool.

Maybe I will give this a try on cold and rainy days when I can't get out on the waters.
