Coindesk Report Reveals Mining Participation Remains Low

in #lsdkhls2 years ago

When it comes to mining, participation was commonly more shy. probably due to the specialized complexity in setting up an ASIC miner at home.

The most common way to mine is with a GPU( Graphics Processing Unit). While the process of mining is fairly simple, it requires a lot of power and space. The most popular GPUs are NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, along with AMD’s Radeon RX Vega 56 and 64.
Mining is also possible with CPUs( Central Processing Units), but this system is veritably hamstrung because CPUs can not be overclocked nearly as important as GPUs can.
