LOW CARB PRAWN MASALA

Hey guys! How are you doing today? So today I’m going to share with you one of the easiest + delicious prawn recipe ever. Prawns are easy to find and they are super nutritious. This is high in protein, low in fat, carbohydrates, calories. This is a power packed low carb dish you could eat this with your rice, roti, bread, anything that you like. Just 20 minutes on the pan and your house is going to be smelling of these aromatic prawns. This is one killer prawn recipe and it’s lip-smacking delicious.

INGREDIENTS

1 stem Curry leaves
1 pod Garlic
2 inches Ginger
3 Green Chili
2 Onion
1 tsp. Chili Paste
1 tbsp. Red chili powder
1 tsp. Turmeric
1 tsp. Tamarind paste
½ kg Prawns
Bunch of coriander
Olive oil or coconut oil
Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

In a heated pot, add some oil. Once it’s heated add some curry leaves and let it fry for 10 seconds.

Now add in chopped garlic and sauté. Add in ginger, green chillies, and the finely chopped onion and let it cook for until its golden brown.

Add in chili paste and sauté until the paste is well combined with the onions.

Now add some red chili powder, turmeric, tamarind paste, and salt. Mix this up really well.

It’s time to add the clean deveined prawns. Reduce your gas to low flame.

Sauté the prawns with the onions and close the pot. Let this cook for around 10 minutes on low flame.

At last, add some freshly chopped coriander and mix it up really well.

Your prawn masala is ready.
