LovingYouScatter Romantic Challenge

Today is day 5 of the #AlrightsPassion 14 days #LovingYouScatter challenge.

It was once our belief in Africa that it is wrong for two young romantic lovers to publicly express their affections. However all our "first" poets did express their love yagayaga through poems which their kinsmen and village people couldn't appreciate because of their inability to read and also comprehend poetry.

However, the misconception that it was wrong to publicly express romance have been carried into marriages; so many couples have never been caught holding hands and their kids have never seen them kiss or hugging.

No wonder many pastors never preach from Songs of Solomon and when they even do, they try to say that it is a fiction depicting the relationship to come between the Church and Christ. Hehehehehe

Well, privately and publicly expressing affection for your partner, especially through words have been known over time to greatly better the romantic lot of many relationships and marriages. Try it out.
