Last year there was a giant storm in North Carolina where I live. The first day I went back to work after the storm, at the end of the day as I was leaving, I looked back towards the building and saw this amazing cloud. The sun was behind it and made it glow. It also caused bright sun rays to shoot out all around the cloud. I snapped a quick photo with my LG cell phone.
This is my cloud photo for the Love The Clouds Contest hosted by @tobetada for the #lovetheclouds contest.
Clouds do such fun things.
Yay ! It's the beginning of the weekend. Hope you all have a great one.
I'm mid-state, so even though the east coast gets it's share of dramatic storms, they are usually not so dramatic anymore once they make it this a far inland. Last year though, we had two threats, one with high warnings way in advance that caused some people to panic a bit. Fortunately, even though we did have heavy storms with high winds for about 4 days straight, it was not nearly so bad here as they predicted for us. The eastern part of the state however, had lots of wind damage & many severely flooded areas.
Oh, yes! I love clouds! Yours look big and puffy and well maybe fluffy is a better word.
Clouds never look as good as they do in person. That is not fair. of course, not in my book anyway.
Good luck in the contest!

Just when you think you've seen everything clouds can do, they surprise you with something else !
Thanks....
I agree. I am always walking around with my head in the clouds!

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.
Oh yeah clouds are sweet!! That one looks like a cool Bob Ross fluffy one!
It was really bright and awesome. Of course it's never quite as great in a photo as to your real eyes.
It was a great contrast to 4 days of storms.

That's a good one! I bet you get some dramatic storms over there on the east coast with the warm gulf stream nearby and cold fronts coming down?
Thanks !
