Wow, a real cloud angel of the sky. In response to noticing @tobetada's #LoveTheClouds contest I had to share this atmospheric anomaly from last year. It was magnificent and filled the sky. It was a winter's day and many onlookers were taken by it. Seeing this made me think about how much I do appreciate clouds and also just how important it is for FLYING. Obviously, manned aircraft are most affected due to altitude, but drone pilots also have to have an acute awareness of clouds too, to not get caught out and to qualify for their licence. We need an education in meterology and airmanship! Of course, pilots want to see the ones not associated with bad weather. So Cumulus and Nimbostratus are out! This particular arrangement I saw I believe is a band of Cirrus with some Cirrocumulus intersecting it. For those interested, a great infographic below!

That’s an awesome cloud formation, I bet it’s been a great week for drone flying - although it’s pouring with rain in Yorkshire today. Have a !COFFEEA 15 to wake you up after a Friday night of !BEER tokens lol
