Let's get to know each other better! Here's my entry for the 'Love it/Shove it Challenge'
@Snowpea wants people to get to know each other better, and created a challenge to get people talking about things they like, and things they don't. I really like the idea, so here are a few things you may not have known about Sweeney...

Here's how the challenge works:
List 5 things that you really like.
List 5 things that you really don't like.
Tag some people you'd like to know better, encouraging them to participate.
Use the #loveitshoveit tag.

I really love...
Music
For as long as I can remember, music has been one of my favorite things. I was the little kid who would record songs from the radio and make mixed tapes, I was the kid with a walkman, and 300+ CDs in his satchel, covering a wide range of genres. I had a Zune. Now smartphones make it incredibly easy to have on demand music any time and anywhere, and I love it!
Games
Not just video games, though making and playing video games was an integral part of my adolescence. I'm talking any games. I'm a game developer, have been since I was about 8 years old. I used to make board games for my brothers and I to play, and homebrew rulesets for games like Dungeons and Dragons, because we couldn't afford real rulebooks. I am a strong advocate for the gamification of employment structures, and even everyday life! I have a post series coming soon that will explain how by gamifying just about anything, you can see a boost in productivity and willingness to participate through incentivization.
Being a Father
My two sons are my life. I had the very worst selection of father figures growing up, none of them being my true father. I vowed at an early age that I would never abandon or harm my children. I take my role as the caregiver and educator of new life very seriously. No one is perfect, but if my boys never deal with any of the multitude of things I dealt with as a child, they will become well rounded, smart, respectful, and most importantly, happy adults.
Who I am
I reject the way others tell me to think and be. I am, always have been, and always will be, just a little bit different. I've spent most of my life with a colored mohawk, and even wearing a suit and tie, refuse to hide who I am. I'm going to end up being one of those crazy old eccentrics that you hear stories about who built a medieval castle by hand on his property in the woods, while my pack of feral emus guard my land.
Learning
I can never learn enough. I crave knowledge, whether I'll ever practically use it or not. This way of being prevents me from becoming an "expert" on any one topic, but I'll gladly trade expertise for a broader perspective. I'm a lifelong learner, in my own way, and on my own time. To me, learning is one of the most important things we could spend our time doing.

Some things that I really just don't f**kin' like...
These don't even deserve images...
"Regular jobs"
A 9 to 5 job has never sat well with me. It feels like a prison working to build someone else's wealth. I have been an entrepreneur since an early age, and have at every opportunity made a living on my own terms, rather than clocking in and out on when it convenient for anyone but myself. I'm definitely one of those people who would rather work 100 hours a week for myself than 40 for someone else.
Stupidity
I'm very forgiving of ignorance. If you simply don't know, I won't likely fault you. However, I am allergic to stupidity. If you make the same mistakes over and over because of the same line of thinking, I have no pity for you, and will not continue to spend time and energy in our communications or relationships.
Entitlement
The world owes you nothing. To think that anyone deserves much of anything beyond food, shelter, and water, is asking a little much. Earn what you get.
Unscrupulousness
I live my life by the Golden Rule: "Do unto others, as you would have them do to you." If you wouldn't want someone cheating or stealing from you, don't cheat or steal. Don't scheme to put yourself ahead of others, or subvert the systems and people that have given you what you've got.
"Authority"
This falls in line with my love of doing things my own way, on my own time. I don't appreciate people who believe that they have a right to dictate how others live their lives. Even the most free citizens of this planet live at the whim of small groups of people who think that they know better, and will demand your money, or even put you in a cage, if you do something they don't like...

There. 10 things about me. So now I'm supposed to tag a few people...
I believe I'll nominate @grow-pro, @steemitqa, @yekrats, @kunschj, and @scuzzy to participate!
This was fun. Can't wait to read more about other Steemians, as I browse the #loveitshoveit tag!
Thanks for reading!

I love all your loves - thanks for the insight :)
Thanks, Stache-man. I will ponder and post. ;-)
I've got a cool idea to run by you... I'll message you on Discord ;)
Cool. I love your loves, tell me who doesn't love music and games.
You right when some one shows a higher level of stupidity it really annoying most times I just let the person be.
