Ripple - Kava - Interledger - Interoperability

Hi guys! This post is about Interledger and Kava - our goal is to keep things simple and help people wrap their heads around Interledger and the Internet of Value, where it’s going and what this all means. We have always set out to educate the masses on this new technology, what it means, how it’s going to be used and that is what we will continue to do.

Kava (Kava.io) is an Interledger solution for blockchain wallets and exchanges. Interledger promises to connect all blockchains and digital networks together into a unified and seamless experience. Interledger makes scaling and interoperability possible by moving transactions off-chain (meaning offline) whilst providing users with access to deep pools of shared liquidity for cross-currency transactions and seamless asset exchange. Integrating Interledger with blockchains wallets and exchanges is no easy task. Kava - the worlds first Interledger solutions provider works with partners to develop enterprise grade integrations with Interledger and provides developers with a Kava API - an easy Interledger access point enabling Interledger transactions across major blockchain networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and many more.

Kava is working with its partners to shepherd in the next evolution of blockchain tech where all digital networks can finally connect and interoperate. Where other solutions are promising a future of interoperability, Kava is delivering it today.

It is worth noting there was an article on the 6th March revealing that Ripple had actually invested in Kava, an investment of around $1.2 million.

So this is just like Hyperledger quilt, the main takeaway is that its ILP (Interledger Protocol) again. It is Ripple investing in them to help them with their project and give them a little bump up.

Kava have partnered with Tendermint -the creators of Cosmic Hub, the consensus engine that drives the Cosmos ecosystem. The Interledger protocol enables seamless payment and value transfer between any blockchain. Kava is the first Interledger solutions provider to deliver Interoperability and liquidity to blockchains, wallets and exchanges. With the application of Kava’s Interledger solutions to the Cosmos ecosystem, more users will be able to flow into the Cosmos ecosystem and greater blockchain community.

The first innovative of the partnership will be integrate Interledger with the Cosmos hub by creating a plug in for ATMOS. Once integrated ATMOS will be accessible by the greater blockchain community including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and all other assets integrated with Interledger.

So if IBM, World wire and all these institutions can use multiple currencies then what makes us so sure XRP will be the one that pushes through and will be the one that is the most valuable in the long term? Again it brings us back to the documents we have seen and the facts that are staring us in the face. It’s the fact that XRP is the fastest asset on the planet, and it will (as I've said before) become the most liquid asset. Other assets and other cryptos will gain value, I'm simply not as confident saying that they will as I am saying that XRP will!

Go back and watch the videos that were posted on the weekend - one was about interoperability and what it means that it’s actually in the hands of the W3C. It’s going nowhere - it’s chosen, it’s a done deal; they're working on it, progressing it, evolving it and regulating it. We just have to wait and be patient.
