What's described is the love we're supposed to have and show as Christians. It's not limited to the kind of love we should have towards our spouse.

Love keeps no record of wrongs. So I choose to keep records of "rights". What I mean is that I do my best to forgive those that have wronged me and not dwell on them so that the memory will fade quickly. I deliberately remember those who have encouraged me and the things that bring joy so that they are lasting memories.
