There's probably a shitload of valentine's post out there but I can't help myself posting a small greeting myself, after all, it's only once per year that cynical flower traders scam us of our hard earned money in the name of love :)
Most of my life I've been opposed to this tradition, not because I'm not romantic but because I believe love should be celebrated every day, not just once per year. A few years ago though, 3½ year to be more precise, I started being in a relationship with a lovely girl for who valentine's means a lot, so much that I kinda felt like I had to do something about it.
Fast forward to present day I must admit I'm rather happy about valentine's, I have buried my cynical side and decided that even though we can celebrate love every day of the year there is nothing wrong in giving it a bit extra on this one day.
Sadly, @iwanderela and I somehow never get our plans to work out as we'd like to so yet again this year it's a long distance valentine's day.. So what can one do to make the day a bit more special? I could have ordered flower delivery or such but then again, it's all about knowing your partner ;)
So before I went to bed last night I wrote her a good old love letter to wake up to, ordered her a romantic dinner (don't know if she remembered the candlelights as she promised though) and made this post for her - the rest will come next time we see each other.

I know not everyone is a big fan of today and many people have noone to share it with but I hope everyone has a really nice and enjoyable day and celebrate their love, either for each other or the love to whatever makes you happy.

I wasn’t able to have a candle. There’s too many people here. But we enjoyed the food specially @gash it was tasty 😋
