God's Love
Text: John 3:16
" For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe that in him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life. "
Today, we will be talking about the wonders of God's love. This love is so great that Paul speaking under the influence of the Holy Spirit prayed for us to come to the knowledge of how deep the Love of God is toward us.
Ephesians 3:17-18 says:
" So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith and I pray that you being rooted and established in love may have power, together with all the Lord's Holy people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. "
Now some may ask why is the love of Christ so important that we need power from above to grasp the measure of it.
Ephesians 3:19 says:
" and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God-"
Wow, isn't that wonderful!
The fullness of the one who created the heavens and the earth. The one who speaks and it comes to pass, that fullness is made to indwell in us once we are on the "loveline". Speaking in verse 17, the scripture says being rooted and established in love, we may have power to grasp the dimensions of God's love.
In verse 19, the scripture speaks of the children of God using the power to know this love that surpasses knowledge to the end that we may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God.
So we get established and rooted in Love then we gain power to grasp the dimensions of the love of Christ, we then come to know this love to the end that we may be filled with the fullness of God.

Pray that the Lord will open your eyes to behold wondrous things out of the law.
