Great story though. Love the writing, expression and composure. Many at times, we tend to take decisions without thinking of the repercussions awaiting us.

Growing up my mom used to say,

Show me your friend and I'll show you your character.

This was to emphasize the lesson that friends greatly influence us and as such we should always be mindful of the company we keep. Yet again, great post.
