Beauty is not in the face, Beauty is a light in the heart. .

In my college, there was this girl in another section of our engineering branch.

• She was 5 feet tall. (Below average height among Indian girls)
• Dark Complexioned (If you are not an Indian, let me tell you, there is colorism because of color. I know this because I have a dark complexion). Fair is beautiful, dark is ugly. (My childhood was ruined because of my complexion, I was the subject of jokes because of it).

Even after these two drawbacks, which many people think, she was the dream girl for most of the guys; it wasn’t because of her looks, but the way she was.

• She was a 10 pointer.
  (10 is the highest GPA in Engineering).

• Down to earth attitude. She didn’t have arrogance and ego at all because of her grades.

• Whenever she opened her mouth, wisdom was the only thing that came out. No one ever interrupted her speech. That was the way she used to talk.
  
  Many females own these qualities, but what she did next, made her superior to any other girl of our college.
  She had a boyfriend and he was 10 years older than her. He was a clerk in a bank. His salary was hardly 15–16k per month.

She married him.

You must be thinking, what is the big deal here?
There is a big deal, or you can say at the least, the biggest deal.

• After she completed her graduation, she went for post graduation from an IIT, whereas her boyfriend was an undergraduate without any fancy degree of Engineering, MBA, Mass Comm, etc.
• She got a job at Yahoo Inc. with a package of 16 lakh per annum. In comparison, it was 8–9 times higher than her boyfriend’s salary.
• She got attractive marriage proposals but she rejected everyone for him.

They got married in 2013 and have a 2-year-old daughter.

Do I still have to tell you how to describe a girl’s beauty?
Just tell me honestly, how many girls can do this without regretting in the future?

• I have seen people (irrespective of gender) cheat because they had a better option in their life.
• I have seen people forget their love because they got a marriage proposal from an NRI.
• I have seen them leave their love when they got a better education in comparison to their partner.

I cannot generalize, but for me beauty can be deceptive. People say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. But, I think your actions make you beautiful irrespective of your face and zero figure.
