My views about love

From the beginning of my childhood I have found it very hard to understand what love is? As every one defines it differently.

Here we would look how people define it and at the end I will be putting my view point.

Firstly I would like to share the excerpts of Bible, how Bible defines it.

“Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.”

There are different view points on love and if I am not wrong every individual has his own view point, letus go through some views.

Some say it is a feeling which we can't express in our words.

Some say love is the care for others feel their pain and to help them out in worst moments of life.

Some say love is Mutual Trust and Respect towards one another. Compassionate Love is Eternal, Rare and Enduring.

Some say Love is Kind, Patient and Innocent. It never seeks revenge.

Hope

Attraction

Joy

Fun

Communication

Compromise

Respect

Forgiveness

My views about love

As per my views love is like pure water:

• Crystal clear

• Tasteless

• Odourless

• Satisfies thirst

• Same for all.

When this pure water, (remember I am using pure water for love here) is mixed with flavours of expectations,it also becomes a matter of taste

If expectations are fulfilled it tastes good,if expectations are not fulfilled it tastes bad

When we make pure water dependent on external charachteristics like taste, beauty, ugliness or the other things which hardly matter in the real sense (looks),expensive or inexpensive (financial status) and other charachteristics by adding different flavours of our choice,we lose its purity. And once purity is lost it loses its worth

When we have the flavours of our choice and some flavoured water satisfies our taste then we become over possessive about it

We just want to own that drink.We just want to make that drink ours

But for how long these added properties(charachteristics of person) to pure water attract us?

With time we may get bored of the flavor (chacheristics like looks),or the flavor (looks etc) itself may fade away

But those who liked the pure water as it is without mixing with any flavour,the tasteless odourless water remains the same forever
