This is a poem to my ex lover.

Remember when we first did meet,
Our heart rejoiced and skipped a beat.

Remember when we used to talk,when
We held hands and took long walks.

Remember when you looked at me
And saw the one you loved and needed.

Remember when our love was new.
And the special day you asked me out.

What happened to the love we shared?
What happpened to our goodnight texts?
Our goodnight kiss and hug?

Can we live our lives together
Just like it all began,
And can we hold and cherish each other
and remember our love again?
