Are cuddles and kisses more important than sex?

We have often been told that sex is the secret of happy couples. But is this really the reality? It would seem that tenderness is even more effective.

It is often thought that sex is the key to the happiness of the couple. The one that maintains love, desire, the desire to envy ... But this is not totally true.

Studies have been published in the "Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin" on 1 March, and according to the research of several psychologists, sex is not the most useful act to keep couples happy.

Sexual relations are part of what can be called "immediate happiness": one is happy, one feels closer to one's partner after having made love. But this sense of well-being remains ephemeral.

It is at this moment that kisses and cuddles do their best. The long-term happiness in the couple is thanks to them. Expressing one's affection for one's spouse through tender gestures helps maintain the relationship over months and even years! Of course, do not give up the sex because it still has its usefulness in the process of well-being: it often triggers these tenderness. A little kiss of satisfaction after coitus is well known.

Carnal pleasure would therefore be a means, or even a stratagem, to obtain cuddles and sweet words. Did you doubt that your legs in the air were so interested?
