Surprise your loved one by writing a surprise message. Our favorite proposal idea? Write “Will you marry me?” on the ceiling with a glow in the dark pen. Is it just me or is there is something special in the air during the holiday season? Christmas marks that time of year when we remind ourselves to be grateful for the ones we love. Take your sweetheart to the exact same spot where you had your first date. You two can reminisce about the journey which you have had together. You can then post it on a social media page which your partner scrolls through frequently, like Reddit, and leave it there for them to find. Too risky? 9.Choose a unique ring

Some partners want to make their proposal ideas truly unique and remembered by pulling out all the stops. Others don’t necessarily wan’t to take the same path. They would rather propose in private with no quirks or games to go with it. If this is the case, why don’t you buy your loved one a unique ring such as a colored gem stone? Everyone usually assumes that diamonds are the most precious stones but this isn’t always the case. It all comes down to the quality of each stone. 10.Take them to a special spot

Do you two enjoy hiking together? Plan a trip through a hiking trail and propose at the end of the trail. Not only is this metaphorical for the journey which you two have had together, chances are you’ll also be surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views of the mountain ranges. Or maybe you two enjoy spending time together at the beach. Plan a picnic on the beach and pop the question at sunset. Perhaps you even enjoy sharing a bottle of wine together. 13.Propose at the aquarium

Take your loved one to the aquarium but make sure to get a scuba diver to help you. Have the diver hold up a waterproof sign that reads “Will you marry me (name)?” in the biggest most colorful fish tank. Quirky and creative!

14.Go for a ride

Rent a vespa, scooter or bikes to tour the city or the vineyards and invite your soon-to-be fiance for a ride. Remind him or her to be safe and wear a helmet. Hand over the helmet (with the ring box already in it) and pop the question! The two of you can spend the rest of the day touring around on the vespa and celebrate your new adventure together.

15.Plan a trip

Tell your loved one that you are taking them away for the weekend. Remember to pack their bags for them so that you don’t give away any surprises. This romantic gesture is guaranteed to set the mood for your perfect proposal moment! Take them to a lodge or a resort where you can unwind and spend quality time together the whole weekend.
