Love changes, love more

If God judged us half the way we judge people today, our fate will be worse than that of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Dear Humans,

Do you feel fulfilled
When you snap your fingers
At a lady who's sparsely dressed
Does your heart leap with joy
When you call her prostitute

The boy with a tatoo
Is he deserving of the silent treatment
You give
The hate rising in your eyes
His pierced ears pierce your soul
And if you had a knife
You'd pierce him through and through
Because he shouldn't live

What about the girl
Who rolls with girls
And the boy who rolls with boys
Do they disgust you that much
Do you wish you were their maker
So that you can end their lives for good
And rid the world of bad influence
And people who sin differently from you

Dear Christian Human,

You cannot say Christ is your role model
When you drive a sparsely dressed lady
Out of your assembly
Or your company
Back into the world she came from

You cannot be in a haste to burn
A petty thief
Or watch others maim him
Because you'd be driving them
Straight into the mouth of hell

How would you reach people
How would you save anything
If you keep building walls of righteousness
And building a hedge of fire around you
So that he who does not believe
Shall be burnt

Why?

Why do you hate so much?
Is this the love the father gave?
Who has made you a henchman
For Christ
Who has bewitched you

You cannot stem immorality
With the arms of the law
Or force
But with truth and grace

Judgement condemns but love changes. Love more, judge less.
