What a wonderful post! It is so true that forgiving ourselves is the hardest thing to do. Same with loving ourselves. Even as I'm reading your post and looking within to the idea of forgiving myself I can feel a huge resistance or blockage there even though I absolutely want to embrace it. I think it's a deeply held cultural way of being too - to look without and to others and not towards oneself and inside.
