Recollecting my thoughts

Hey you, haven't talked in a really long time, huh?
I think it's time we move on from the whole situation. I loved you, you didn't love me, that's life. All those hardships I endured, don't worry about them. Well you broke my heart, I needed a lot of time to heal and by that time I talked to myself. Talked about love, about life all those things that weren't you. You gave me ecstasy, the thrill of the moment, yeah just like I said "a moment". That's not enough for me, I need more. I need all of it, even those hardships, but with a happy ending. I need a girl in my arms, one with a wild heart, but tamed just for me. You brought me sadness, those tears I shed while you were partying, they were for you, but later they became for me. Those tears were transferred into success, that's right not happiness. I'm still not happy, but now I'm a better person. Those days made me stronger, not so weak, not so naive, now people can't treat me the way you did. I thank you for the love I gave to you, I thank you for the pain, I thank you for the new me.
