Why doesn't a man want to get married?

Warning : I got carried away while answering and may have deviated a little.  And might be a little sarcastic, And you may not like the answer.

'A Man' needs to be defined better.

Oh!! I am not being sarcastic, here. A man needs to be defined himself better before he can start any processing thoughts about marriage. You see, by the definition a marriage is a commitment. And, there is this general idea floating around that most men have commitment issue. Well, I would like to put it out there that it is not the fear of commitment, but fear of letting the significant other down. 

A man may rarely admits but he does care, and his mind had lots and lots of 'What if' scenario. Here the basic difference between a man and a woman comes into play, it is easier for the woman to speak her mind  but the man's mind goes looking for words which would explain how he feels about the situation. And marriage is one such situation. Any relationship which enters the marriage phase the man would have gone through many incident where he might have the thought 'Can our relationship survive the ongoing issue?' if there are few such incident then the man would be at ease, But in a scenario where he is that position far too many times. Then his mind will go into self defense mode and every talk with his partner would be a game of chess. And when asked about the marriage he start going through all the possible scenario just like Dr Strange in the avenger 4, The only thing is he doesn't have the power to go through each cases and is not sure to proceed or not and ends up with dumbfounded look. Always...

It's either that or could be any of the following reasons.

1. He is really nervously waiting for a right moment to ask.
2. He is not ready, i.e He might have some goals which he is yet to achieve.
3. He is financially screwed and doesn't want to drag you in.
4. He is secretly a superhero and getting married would put you in cross hair of enemies.
5. He is Heisenberg kinda guy and getting married would lead you to a skyler.
6. He is secretly gay.
7. He is secretly married and going through a divorce right now for you.
8. He is a spy and would have to go back as soon as his mission is over.
9. He could be suffering from a neurological disorder and the word marriage induces short-term amnesia or delusion where he is already married.
10. He is sick and wants to drive you away.
11. Doesn't believe in the concept of marriage but too afraid to put forth his opinion because he may get killed.
12. He is not really into you. 

or the answer could be part of millions of other thing. I am really sorry for being harsh, But I don't think the you will get the answer you are looking for here, This question can only be answered by 'A man' who was mentioned in the question. Try talking to him he definitely has answer. and hope that its 1 or 2.
