Anchor of my Faith
It is always a blessing to humble ourselves before our God. To just be in His very presence and silence all the countless concerns and unstoppable voices around us is a gift for His sons and daughters. I am not saying that it is a means for us to escape a bit the so-called 'reality' rather it is appropriating the reality of the Word to the 'reality' our senses could feel and understanding could comprehend.
Allow me to share this short notes with you.
We, Christians decided to follow and love God by faith. When we go through tough times and God’s deliverance is experienced, we are all the more compelled to love Him. Thank God that in our desperation of His hand, He is by our side.
For us to say, “I will love You, O LORD...” means that we can’t help but open up what we really have in mind before our God. There is an intense relationship nurtured in our daily walk with Him whether in favorable or dreadful times.
These verses are not just a declaration of faith, but of the declaration of the experienced victory not just for David but for us, God’s people. We confidently declare who our God is. The God of David is also our God.
Let's all declare the verses and let God be God!
God bless you!
