THE THING CALLED LOVE

I often say to people that understanding to the key to becoming outstanding in life, If you don't get the definition of a subject correctly, you won't understand the other topics under the subject.
One thing that is often discussed, the theme of every song, the fact of every drama and the word on every tongue is a four letter word.

Short but powerful... A four letter word, the reason for fashion, often the cause of many crimes... LOVE.
It is perhaps the most complicated and misinterpreted word. So interesting a word, it is capable of several interpretations while we were growing up, we had issues with understanding the concept, many people went on a frolic and suffered many hurts because of the lack of understanding of the subject matter.

Even amongst adults, there are several adulterated definitions and interpretations of love. A young man was said to have approached his pastor, looking so serious , he said Pastor, I have found a sister that I love so much, she must be the right woman for me, the pastor was interested and further asked him, how do you know that you love her? He quickly replied....aaaah Pastor, it is a serious thing o, every time I see her my heart begins to skip faster. The pastor replied, that is a symptom of heart attack not love. 👌

A lot of our understanding about love has been coloured by what people say it is
What movies, music videos and perhaps books say it is. Several people of different ages have defined love differently. We have heard people say love is a beautiful thing
Others have said love is wicked. Some say love is risky and dangerous. Some say love is throwing all caution to the wind.

Others have said things like...Love is something that can't be said it has to be felt. Love is the energy you feel the millisecond before you kiss. It's the intangible but definitely tangible static when you touch. Love makes no sense and makes perfect sense at the same time. Love can ruin lives and can resurrect lives. Love is bold. Love is patient. Love is honest and love is unconditional.

Loves then looks like the elephant used by our teachers in the secondary school when attempting the definition of a subject matter.
It means different things to different people
Let's quickly look at what love is not....I like to go this way when talking to singles.
