Clean slate where we one time
Young, naive and free
To sing of love that knows no time.
You were you and I was me
Yet we call time as we
you were my universe and you were mine.
I still miss the time where life was rosy
when time was gold
And everything was in synch for you and i
Now they're but shady memories
Of scars you'd wish will heal with time
Yet were old enough to know they never do
We just learn to live with it in time.
