The past few days, I and my friends have been about giving our friend's baby a warm welcome.

We started by planning the event. We had a perfect picture of what we wanted. The excitement was out of this world. The baby could already feel the love in our hearts.

We had a physical meeting for this purpose. We made suggestions and contributed financially towards it. We then went ahead to choose people who will go to the market which I was part of.
On reaching the market, we didn't quite get all the items we needed. This was saddening as we didn't have time on our side.

We could have just forgotten about it but we wanted to make it happen. Then one of us came up with the idea to go all hand made.

Arrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhh how were we going to get this all done in just two days. Where will all that time come from. It sounded kind of impossible but guess what, We got to work. We agreed to go all hand made. We surfed the internet for baby shower inspiration and yes we did it.

The above picture was the product of our efforts. It felt really good being a part of something this nice.

Getting To Work

It took us two days to get it all done with.
It all started with messy things like the picture below.

And even got messier with things like this

At a point we almost decided to forget about it but as the saying goes, nothing good comes easy. So we pushed at it and together we achieved a successful baby shower.
