My parents have been married for 30+ years, it certainly isn't all rosy. Marriage is a commitment above anything, and if we go with that impression of 'Happily ever after' before seeing how it really is - it will fail no doubt

That said, it makes no sense for anyone to focus on the 'darker side' because we humans are hopelessly optimistic beings. Be that as it may, no one can deny that it does exist

I've been married for 27 years. It isn't all roses but there is something awesome about figuring out how to constantly adapt to two agendas and find ways to be happy. :)
