sex energy plays a major role in accelerating spiritual development. That is why in many religions, committed practitioners need to practice celibacy. By saving sex energy from nonstop sex and by bringing this energy to the Crown and upper chakras, one can attain spiritual experience the greater one.

Indeed.
However, celibacy, as a precept, misses the practise. It's one thing to preserve the sexual energies for self exploration and a totally another thing, contradicting, to adoid the physical exploration of that energy. God doesn't want your sexual energy, no need to save it for God. If anything, God would want you to explore, enjoy, with balance and discretion.
