Love is a strong word

Love..is a strong word that means alot right? But why do people abuse it and take people for granted? It isn't fair nor okay in my opinion. Love is supposed to be forever and a commitment to one another. It's NOT meant for cheating and going behind others back it is for to embrace each other and support one another with the passion you feel with that other person. But why in the 2000 it seems to be okay to have open relationships and it seems to be okay to cheated and have sex with multiple guys/girls? Sex is for marriage and supposed to mean a lot in someone's relationship right? So why is love so hard to find in the world anymore. Why can't we all be faithful and be happy with what we got. Cause there are good people out there like me that just want to be loved like we are supposed to be.
