The past is done, time for some fun, peddled then when we had skin, now we ride, not to hide to feel free, and race the breeze. We still go slow, yet we are bold, to the future we will hold. Off to dinner, and a beer, sitting down to enjoy a meal, all because of two fast wheels.
Look back with fondness, but try not to let it hit to hard. If we all looked back say 20 years and let it control us, we would all be living in fear. Enjoy the new ride.

I try not to look back because aging in an of itself can sometimes be depressing haha, but you couldn't pay be to be a teenager again :)
You're right, looking back with too critical an eye can just be detrimental; "look back with fondness" is key!
