Too much emotional baggage?

in #love6 years ago (edited)

Does s/he still have time?
He said because he was too busy.
Is it for our future?

Do you go out with your partner for the “sake” of it or you really enjoy their company? Sometimes it seems tough to end relationships even if they seem like a burden and you could be watching a movie, instead of spending time with your partner. You aren’t really interested in them anymore but have to go out just to keep the relationship running.

This is just some of those questions you have in mind because you feel s/he does not have enough time for you?

Here’s what to do:

1. TALK.

Better understand each other’s situation to help clear things.

2. Return or go over your “RULES” on giving time for each other.

Agree on the day and time to have a date, talk or chat time, when to text or not, since you can’t be together 24/7. You all know about Adulting is life, right?

3. Be honest.

Whatever reason it is for not having enough time for your partner as before, tell it. No filter. DO NOT EDIT!

4. Be understanding.

Listen to understand not to respond.

Keep in mind that habitually demanding what you want, not considering your partner’s needs, usually ends up to a fight. Whatever’s the matter, fix it. I’m sure it’s worth it.
