If you sit in the sunset
Think back on what you did in a day.
Think, you will find
A selfless act, a word
They will leave comfort in the hearers.
A cordial glance.
Let the sun shine everywhere you go.
You know it's a meaningful day.
But if, for a whole day
You hesitate to bring joy to a heart.
If for a whole day
You can't think of anything worth remembering.
No sunshine for another face.
Not even a little effort.
Not to help anybody.
That day was worse than losing it.
