if you’ve not watched Love, Death & Robots on Netflix you are missing out, it’s fantastic!

The first episode was really gritty and set the tone for the animation style to come, the episodes are short too so it makes for some fast watching of different stories, perfect for our short term attention span brains these days, the first one certainly had a twist to it! (Btw, why do animators always do the girl on girl thing, like come on guys, level up on the spectrum huh?)

three robots was great, I loved the attitude and talk back from the three robots just bumming around the world looking for interesting things, kinda reminded me maybe communities on the steem blockchain, people creating curation groups to find interesting stuff, I could certainly see a voiced over show like that for the steem blockchain, maybe steemmonsters with all their voice talent they have on deck! :)

The witness was CRAZY good, like the styling was off the chart, I could not work out if it was real with effects over the top or what but the pacing, colours, palette, skin tones and just general frequency of this one was incredible, really pulled you in, it’s insane what can be done these days, I mean really don’t know what’s real or not at this stage!

suits up next and while it was a nice quirky cartoon style, great story, it did feel like someone really liked starship troopers which let’s be honest only has one reason to watch it and she’s called Denise — it was ok, great animation, drawing style and such like but it was also a bit of a teenager wet dream with a rendering package, forgive me but the others before it were better at this stage.

Sucker of souls was hectic, great, but hectic, totally full on, blood everywhere, vampires, intensity, fast motion. Full of momentum, you’ll like it if you like managa and Japanese intensity! :)

The next one is my favourite (and @dayleeo I think) when the yogurt took over oh this was just so so good, yogurt becomes sentient and basically asks for Ohio, gives a plan for fixing the global economy which the humans don’t stick to and the world goes to shit and they leave — it’s fucking gold, kinda sums up planet earth tbh that we get owned by Lactobacillus acidophilus.

beyond the aquila drift felt like many of the discord channels that you can find across the steem blockchain, one thing pretending to be a thing that’s actually another thing, either way, really incredible graphics all the same, great story, which reality would you choose? Be careful when jumping to light year huh? :)

Another fav was good hunting mainly from the art style and the strong story, I felt like it was one of the more interesting ones and had a feel of animatrix to me, but then I’m a sucker for anything kinda steampunk chrome styling and goody takes on the baddies.

the dump was ok, shape-shifters was ok, helping hand was legit, felt like someone had seen Sandra bullock in that space movie and decided to play around with it a little, hard core audio and visuals but did really bring home the notion of survival, for that I applaud it.

fish night was dreamy, love that style of animation, the neon fishes and the desert, love the alter ego of that intertwined together and expected finish, felt like a manga walter white situation.

lucky 13 was stunning to look at again, loved the story, felt a little starship troopers but I loved the notion of the AI enhanced transport being linked emotionally and empathically to the driver who loves and cherished it so much, digital chemistry, interesting angle.

of all of them thou I have to say that zima blue really hit the spot, not just from the story line but the art direction and how it went full circle flawlessly, if you wanted to define digital art in the year 3000 then this is probably what we can expect, massive, intense — I still expect however that the colour would be the steemhunt pink and not blue :)

blind spot was fast paced, interesting, downloadable persona into physical robots, go on missions, die but can be restored, like dlive but instead of a real blockchain they have Lino testnet instead.

ice age was rad, I liked it a lot, I loved the way a whole world was in the back of that fridge and how it evolved so fast, it was like watching the whole crypto currency scene explode in South Korea! :)

The alternative histories was super interesting too, something from a content perspective that could be done on the steem blockchain I think, pick a story or topic, collapsable start, middle and ends, three people right the story, everyone get’s a cut, make a custom condenser frontend for it — go ahead, make it, look cool. I’d use it.

the secret war did not know what it was, felt like someone decided that actually it would be just cool to merge some starship troopers style spider things into world war 2 or somewhere, they pulled it off but it didn’t really have any depth too it, nice graphics thou.

Oh and the soundtrack for all the 18 episodes is sick too!
