Bud Post
Won $16.2M in Pennsylvania’s lottery in 1988. An ex-girlfriend sued him for part of the money. His brother hired a hitman to kill him and his sixth wife.
Was $1 million in debt by 1989. Lived quietly off of $450 a month and food stamps. He died in 2006.
Willie Hurt
Won $3.1M in Michigan’s Lottery in 1989. By 1991 divorced and lost custody of his children. Charged with attempted murder. Crack-cocaine addiction drained all his money.
Denise Rossi
Won $1.3M in California’s lotto in 1996. Filed for divorce 11 days later with no explanation. Two years later, her ex-husband found out about the money. He sued for not including her winnings in their divorce. A judge awarded him all $1.3M.
Andrew Whittaker Jr.
Won a #315M powerball, $114M after taxes, in 2002. $545,00 in cash was stolen from his car. Was sued by Caesar’s Atlantic City for allegedly bouncing $1.5M in checks.
His fortune was gone in four years. Be careful what you wish for 70% of lottery winners go bankrupt in a few years.
70% of the winners go bankrupt, but many of them die because they win loads of money they start doing lots of drugs, alchool their live is changing and not in the good way. Few people know what to do with that much money if they win the lottery.

I think that when you play the lottery it is just another tax that you pay. No good comes of it.
